Welcome Back!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with our Blog. I've been a bad girl!! Why does it seem like there's not enough time in the day? Am I the only one that feels that way, I know my husband shares the same feelings.

The Powers have been busy since my last posting; Justin has made the honor roll 3 times this year, Scott and I have gone on a wonderful Carnival cruise with our closest friends and Scott started a whole new career with Progressive Insurance.

We've all been keeping busy...more craziness is upon us. The Powers will be starting some home improvements next weekend. Thank God for our "Lawrence" who's going to help us with closing in our screen porch and taking down a wall between our kitchen and living room. "Lawrence" as we affectionatly call him is Larry my wonderful brother-in-law who's married to my sister Carol. We are very greatful for them coming to spend a few days with us to help with the home improvements. I'll take before and after photos...

Justin is finishing his last week of the 7th grade this coming week. Yes, he's moving onto the 8th grade, he's done very well at Swift Creek Middle school with being on the honor roll and he was teasing me the other day that he thinks he's past this last term. I can't believe he's going into the 8th grade and soon it'll be the "Big House". I was so afraid when my Mom told me I was going to the "Big House" which means High School. Can anyone believe that in another year Justin will be in High School, you feel old don't you? :-) Sorry....

My job at Altrua Marketing is going well, I'm an account service rep. for them; technically I'm in "sales". We do all the POP (point of purchase) materials for McDonald's, yeah you heard me. I have an awesome job. Since my six months there I've mastered some major clients, attended the Worldwide Convention in Orlando,FL and yes I've received FREE McDONALD'S FOOD. I think I'll stick around for awhile.
